i feel bad for his family and friends...being close to someone who's killed themselves is a grief that can't be explained...

you know, a man who decides to die will surely find a way to get it done. there is no intervention, no amount of support or psychiatric intrusion that will keep him alive. sure, you might postpone it for a few days, even years, but he will most certainly die by his own hand. it's messed up, but those who truly want to end their lives do. it's those that are a "cry for help" that we can help. they are the one who attempt suicide but never actually get the job done for whatever reason (in the back of their minds they keep themselves alive).

i'm surprised it took this long for this kind of thing to happen.
