VHS....

mc73nova 12-03-2008 05:57 PM

They just showed the interview again on espn, LOL. Big deal, if anything I would be pissed if my kid was sitting in front of the t.v. and then asked me what that meant. They air everything these days. What a joke.

BonzoHansen 12-03-2008 05:58 PM

The NHL made way too big a deal out of this. None of us would even know if they didn't so this.

In comparison to how much chit is talked on the line of scrimmage in most any NFL games, whats the big deal?

NJSPEEDER 12-04-2008 12:53 AM

An NFL line isn't normally mic'ed up either. lol

I think Scott hit it on the head, if the NHL hasn't made a big deal out of it, ESPN would have just chalked it up to him being weird again and it wouldn't have ever made the air.

NJSPEEDER 12-04-2008 01:38 AM

I just saw Avery's apology. What a bunch of crap.

no it was not martin...it was a mere stab at the fact that i know were not ''friends'' and was speaking from the boards point of view.... ''our friend''

some people just get all uptight over nothing  i gots no problem with you martin

band77one 12-05-2008 06:41 AM

i beleieve they took the right action against avery, good player? sure, but the NHL are tryin to change their image and trying to bring the sport to another level and gain the sport more fans. they can only do that by taking correct actions against the players who **** up and guys like Avery, Ryan Hollweg etc. need a shot in the ass. And i dont beleive they are blowing it out of proportion because he intentionally did it on Camera, like many other players have said, off the camera fine, but you cant go and intentionally say some stuff like that on camera. it was just 100% inappropriate, hilarious but inappropriate

sweetbmxrider 12-05-2008 04:28 PM
