I drove the car for probally close to 2 months before dynoing finding out it had 2 blown pistons and some bad wires/plugs before tearing it apart. It got me where I needed to go including the dyno day unlike somebodys lt1...i was just playing with him because of that tho not facts just chuckles man

How can an SBC that grenaded be more reliable than someone else's running LT1?

Jersyboyy 01-18-2009 10:57 AM

I was kidding tim, and my guy said he uses ppg. Might explain why its kinda cheap.

Mike 01-18-2009 12:41 PM

eh dosent explain much, while they say they prefer sickens and DuPont, they weren't saying that ppg is cheap

Slo86Bird 01-19-2009 10:23 PM

i was driving to work the other day and saw a ford f350 painted like this but red on top. found it kinda amusing lol

TronsBird 01-19-2009 11:57 PM

think he'd spray a trans am nocturne blue for the same price?

NJSPEEDER 01-20-2009 12:45 AM

If you guys want cheap paint jobs, just go to maaco. At least then when it turns out crappy you have a national chain to blame instead of some super expert painter who doesn't even paint for a living. Honestly, if the guy knew what he was doing, he would have a very lucrative job doing it. Painters and body men get paid serious money if they are worth anything.
