And can anyone recommend a good set of gloves

muscle has a memory. you'll get there a lot quicker than it took you the first time.

i use weider padded. they are only slightly padded, and only where the callous grows. get gloves that fit, too, so you aren't cutting off the circulation to your fingers and not so loose that they wiggle around on your hand.

Absolutely. I've had to take the past 2 months off (!) to take a rest and let my body repair itself. Just like the other times, I am sure it will come back quick.

I hope so, I managed to tweak something in my chest so I dropped a lot of weight off and worked the reps slow and really focusing on form. Seemed to have worked, I am slowly working back up to where I was, doing more reps and so far no pain at all.

Could be- but I wanted to give my joints a long time to heal. If you do a PL routine it can damage your body permanently if you aren't careful. Plus I have to go for a physical next week and I want to get all the supps out before the blood test.

LTb1ow 02-20-2009 09:51 PM

Eh, if I take a while off I get really crazy, lifting calms me down.

Let me put it to you this way. I lost 22 lbs. When I look in the mirror I can tell some of it was fat- but not all. I fight to gain weight, not lose it.
