Mike 08-04-2009 09:59 PM

my best 60 of the night was a 2.0. it was like an ice rink in either lane. i ran a 12.7 and a 12.8 both at 112, and there was no reason to be beating on my car after that, it wasnt going to get better

then a quick8 mustang smacked the wall around 1000' out, and i loaded up and went home

i has tune now :)

which means i have to completely adjust the way i launch the car

JerzLT1 08-04-2009 10:27 PM

ahh but do you have a working tach? lol

Mike 08-04-2009 10:29 PM

it worked today.......and all but that one run last time lol

teaser: on my baseline run, the air/fuel ratio was over 14.0 for the entire pull........ lean much?

JerzLT1 08-04-2009 10:33 PM

lean = faster lol, when i said working i meant is your shift light still going off through the traps?

Mike 08-04-2009 10:36 PM

yah lean = fast, except when its so lean it gains 30 hp when you richen it up :)

shift light is still coming on, BUT i fooled around and stayed in the throttle past the finish, and i had to hit the brakes before i actually hit the limiter, so its either momentum from short shifting like we thought, or a glitch in the circut

69BirdX 08-04-2009 11:39 PM

I ran a 12.8 with a 1.85 60 @107... spun and got some wheel hop. Second run ran a 12.76 With a 1.75 60 @ 106. I blame it on the heat that run i got screwed up launching because they left the pro 5 lights on but my 60 wasnt to bad. I normaly would of ran a 12.4x with that kind of 60. My mph was way low to, its usualy 110. Still had fun nice talking to you guys

98tadriver 08-05-2009 11:11 PM
