Wow...the deck lid, spoiler, and rear bumper are about the only things salvageable. He ****ed up every other pannel on that thing
I also noticed that the rear glass didnt break either!! Wow.

According to the link the driver was allegedly passing cars in the oncoming lane in a 35 mph no passing zone, while traveling somewhere near 75mph. Oncoming traffic caused the GTO driver to swerve and hit the pole.

If you read the very LAST post, he died of head trauma. When he was taken to the hospital, they thought he had a minor head bump, but it became much worse and caused his death. Sounds like his brain swelled up after the impact and the sudden stop and this can be fatal within a short period of time. :shock:

I guess that no seat belt saving his life really worked out. Funny how 3-points can help prevent that, huh?

all i can say is ouch must of been a really nice lookin car before that. Id still take that car the way it is..
