Nice pong tables! But I'm still used to beer pong being real ping pong with a ping pong table, net and 4 people with paddles hitting the ball after it bounces! The object is to hit the ball at the beer cups on the other side of the table. How do you actually play that throwing version of the game?
|
My first game on that table was a loss. I blame Megan....

If you miss, you suck.
Once a ball gets into a cup, that side drinks said beer. |
rules are specific to the table but for the most part the same. Rules played on a table at penn state and gona be different than rules played on a table at U of Penn.
my firends and i play -shot for ball, each team gets a ball, players look each other in the eye and not at the cups and shoot at the same time. make it u get the balls and first shot. -make a cup in the opponets side and they drik that cup -miss and its their ball -make back to back shot on the same turn and you "bring them back." balls are returned to the offence for 2 more attempts. -we play one "rerack." Cups are rearranged upon the teams request once per game. only three legal racks, triangle (three cups), dimond (4 cups), or staight 2 (2 cups, one infront of the other) *note: "power-I" formation is illegal. Three cups one infron of the other. Offers a team a bilt in 2nd rerack if the front or back cut is hit first. -first team to hit all cups wins. After a team his all cups the opposing team shoots till them miss. ball are return for each cup hit giving the team a chance to tie it. -in the event of a tie over time is put into place. 3 cups - same rules apply except no rerack and the team who hit all the cups in regulation shoots first now in regulation if the last two cups are hit back to back then there is not chance for redemption for the loosing team. also when one team wins the loosing team drinks what ever is left on the table. there can be many other rules just depends who u play with. man i have too much time at work |
oh yeah i meant triangle...the sam adams girls were at thatcher mcghees last night, they made me drink many beers

Standard universal rules are, 6 cups = 1 rerack, 10 cups = 2, and no limitations on how you choose to rack them as long as each cup touches the cup(s) next to it. |
