The same thing happened to my PS3. Had it for 4 months and the disc drive stopped reading any disc format. Sent it back and got a new one for free, not a refurb. I've had this one for almost 2 years now and it hasn't given me a problem. I'm just hoping it doesn't die because I really don't like the new slim version.

I'm sending my 60GB in to Sony as much as i don't want to. I cant wait to have it working again and buy some new games "MW2"
