A day that will live in infamy

I was doing about 80 on turnpike north tacin about 4 grand & I nailed it just to see what it would do. This is what it did! Explode

the original powerglide was in 3 pieces : I cant find thos pics right now

Car looks great, and don't worry, $90K is just a drop in the bucket, I'm wayyyy past that with my 69 Z28. The way I would look at, you could have had that $90K in the stock market a couple of years ago and it would be worth $45K now! And you're right, a lot of people refer to a car as "restored" when it's not close to actually being restored, it's more likely repainted or partially rebuilt.

Such a true statement by both you guys. I get a lot of calls from people looking to get a car "restored" and they have budgets of 3-5k haha.

68s just look mean compared to the 67s and 69s, i love the way the front grille looks. the color looks great i love it. im a sucker for those deep reds and maroon-ish looking colors

Saturdays are by appointment only and few and far between this time of year as I'm usually out advertising at car shows but let me know and we'll get together.

Im not pushing that much horsepower to shatter a powerglide

Any hits as to the cause?
