sorry i shouldnt of said collectors. they have insurance for collector cars and custom cars. but they do have limits to what you can and cant do.

i have my 88 camaro insured as a "pleasure vehicle" on the same state farm policy that my whole family is on.

i had american collectors. they sucked. raised the rates $10 every year for no reason. i have grundy on both my TAs now. much cheaper and the rates never rise.

Good luck. It seems the late 4th gens have now hit that point in time where most of them are beat up.

Actually, Grundy does raise their rates. I have Grundy and my insurance is up for renewal this month. I spotted on the declarations page that they raised the value of my car $1,500 over last year. I called them and they said in your policy there is something called "inflation guard" that raises your declared value by 4% each renewal. I was never aware of it, and was never told of it by them until now. I was able to remove it and they didn't give me a hard time. But I suggest you check your policy.

my dad has american collectors on the ta, dont know how old you are, but they require 10 years driving experience
