Maybe you need to spend more time in thirdgens to understand true blind spots.

Maybe it's because I've been driving them for so long but I never had an issue with blind spots.

I'm not a fan of the HUD. But then again, I'm not a fan of cell phones either so I guess I'm not a typical car owner!

Two coffee cans and some string works for you right? :D

You suck at the driver mid then. I've sat in the car and I'm a much bigger man then you. Maybe you need to spend more time in third and 4th Gens to understand true blind spots. Its a non issue and after you drive the car for more them a lap you get used to it.

Please. I dd a 3rd gen for over 6 years and drove it on nice days for another 4. And it was faster than yours :p With the 5th gen I'm going by actual owner comments. I see a nice malibu in your driveway. Where are you gleaning all this 1st hand 5th gen experience from, a few ride+drives and sitting in a parked one? I've done that too.

4th gens have blind spots?

Al, I think your car has been not running for too long and the dust/tree sap has covered teh windows.... thats not a blind spot...

Could you see over the dash (really)? We talked to a guy at chatterbox on Saturday, when I asked him about blind spots he said he said he had some issues because of the dash and raised hood center section. He had the seat all the way down, he was ~6'1"

Haha thanx! :) Once I adjusted the seat up, I could see over the dash, and the tilt/telescoping steering wheel helps. But the right front corner was definitely a little sketchy. Once I actually get some seat time I'll know for sure if it'll bother me to drive it. The big C-pillar on the Camaro doesn't seem that bad; my Montes have all had that so I'm used to it, and the short windows don't bother me either (at least sitting in it). I'm planning to road test one next month - gonna bring my wife and kids along to get their opinions. My daughter and son love the new Camaros though, and my wife actually suggested it, so it wouldn't be a hard sell for the family. I'd just have to make sure my wife and I are comfortable driving it.
