RU_Weskot 07-06-2010 06:29 PM

We let my dog out to go to the bathroom around 3 today, when it was 100-105 (I later found out)... After she did her business she came back to the house and literally passed out on the porch. >_< We want rain! My baby doesn't like this heat either! >=/

FlyingDutchman 07-06-2010 07:45 PM

Was working on a farm and it hit 102, the irrigation pond there was down 4 feet from last friday  one of the guys was extending the pumps b/c they werent far down enough to reach the water!

"rain makes corn, corn makes whiskey, whiskey makes my baby..... a little friskey"

I went out after work and walked 18 holes of golf. It was hot, but I've played when it was much worse than this. The lake on the course is down 2 feet since last week and neither stream that feeds it has any water flowing at all! We are in big trouble if we don't get some moisture real soon.

No one is crying, just stating fact.

I'd take this weather over 30 and snowing.

EODMonkey 07-09-2010 05:35 PM

100 i cant wait. i'm in the 90's by 7-8am and pushing 120 by noon. its like a cool 80 out and its almost 130 in the morn.

greenformula92 07-10-2010 09:42 AM

it poured on fort dix for a little while yesterday, brought the temp down and then later on in the afternoon some of the humidity went by the wayside. it wasnt too bad. im hoping the rain holds off today so i can go look at a 6 speed t/a in hillsborough

For ANYBODY who hates THIS weather, just read some of the replys from last years WONDERFUL SUMMER. This same crap will be here soon enough, so enjoy NOT sweating just as you leave your house.

By the way, that lovely green dust is just around the corner (POLLEN). Get ready to sneeze your brains off and forget about keeping your car clean!

Listen you can SUCK IT, I have to walk around in a GENERATING station during the summer some times. 100 degree heat + steam = lot higher than ambient temperature!

Frosty 04-12-2011 03:15 PM

OK you win, you're still a bitch though, lol. ;)
