Won't all that stuff be on the police report? Haha you can call them up and tell them you want to make good on the situation and take them out somewhere...

Sorry to hear that - make sure you go to a doctor cause you never know - you may have an injury which will become evident after a couple of days

98tadriver 07-25-2010 03:37 AM

i should have the police report on monday. I will be sure to let everyone know. Things should go my way- Mainly because their car slammed into me, and a volunteer fireman who happened to be driving home was a witness to the whole thing; from the part when they passed him at a high rate of speed to the time of impact :D

Frosty 07-25-2010 08:23 AM

If things went down the way you say they did then you have nothing to worry about unless the chicks did a few things in the back of the police car to help change the officer's mind

A few days? Hell my Dad got rear ended when I was little and didnt feel the effects of it for 2 months. Thought his back was just tight and when the knots started working themselves out he realized he had problems. Except by then the insurance had been settled and there was nothing he could do.

The point is 12sec is right go get checked out.

thats crazy how that delayed injury stuff happens, maybe i should. it wouldnt hurt to get it checked out

Frosty 07-25-2010 01:30 PM

The worst it's going to cost you is a day at the doctors...better to be safe than sorry.

MyFirstZ 07-25-2010 03:02 PM

start looking for that render now since no one makes them, you gotta get em' used.

V 07-25-2010 03:25 PM

that sucks...

if a 1/4 is an issue... wide body time... lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-02...Q5fAccessories

JerzLT1 07-25-2010 03:25 PM

let them total it and buy it back

Chad 07-25-2010 05:09 PM

alteast you are ok man

98tadriver 07-25-2010 08:17 PM

lol widebody kit, never saw that for a 4thgen f body before. ill be very surprised if they total it, the frame looks good, airbags didnt deploy, A pillars arent bent. probly be a couple grand. when i hit that dog with the trans am 4 years ago, i needed a front bumper cover, and a few small things, that wound up being $1200+ thank god i had full coverage then

Frosty 07-25-2010 09:08 PM

It's gonna be more than a few grand. That outer wheelhouse is gonna need work, that rear body panels is gonna be toast once they get the bumper and tail light off....there's gonna be some hidden damage.

MyFirstZ 07-25-2010 09:11 PM

i would say at least 4 grand

98tadriver 07-26-2010 04:24 PM

I went to the police station today to see if they had the report, and they told me 10-14 days after the day of the accident.... Why does it take that long? my insurance company doesnt have the report either, the cops told them the same thing. so im dead in the water for now

Frosty 07-26-2010 05:16 PM

Seriously? What could the cops in that area possibly have to do? 10-14 is a long time, most are 3-5 tops.

maroman88 07-26-2010 06:23 PM

small depts may only have one traffic officer to sign off on the reports, and he may be the only one either qualified, or just designated to do them, and he could be on vacation! when i got hit in my truck, i drove right to the PD in my town and picked up the report not even half an hour later!

V 07-26-2010 08:18 PM

lol, i love the re-enactment

98tadriver 07-27-2010 12:33 PM
