Yea, I have also heard good things about it. Haven't made the trip out there yet though....plenty of free wheeling closer to home for me.

was wondering if i could hook up with you guys and hit some trails?
I've already caught heel for this before, but hey, I'm a glutton for punishment and shameless plugs. Come check out www.northjerseyjeepclub.org. Only requirements to join are that you are 18 and own a Jeep. We offer monthly club rides (Mostly to Rausch Creek), sanctioned rides on private property (And we are insured for those rides), tech days (A bunch of people showing up to help you fix/upgrade your rig, kind of like an Amish barn raising on steroids), and the forum is a wealth of knowledge and information. We've got everything from brand new stockers with newbie wheelers to hardcore, competition rigs with experienced drivers. We're family friendly and promote safe, responsible, LEGAL off roading.

Will do....I'm working on making sure my driver's seat doesn't come through the floor right now, then it's time for new shocks. Then I'll be back on the trails again.

I just went to Rausch Creek this past sunday with a couple of my buddies. i dont have a Jeep but i have a very capable 05 4Runner which did nicely on both Green Trails. we had a blast but just to fair warning for you guys that havent been there before, they say its a Green trail but damn, there were some very difficult trails along the way. we came up on some things that just made me think to myself "wholy ****, there's no way a stock vehicle is gonna make it through this crap"...lol...but i did fine.

we did a guided tour of both green trails so we didnt get to play around that much by our selves but it was our first time there and it was good to have a guide the whole day which prevented us from getting lost.

we plan to go back in sept after we do a few things to our rigs.

I've had a blast every time I've gone out to Rausch. Many people cry about how Paragon was way better, but honestly, Rausch has something for everyone, and the best part is that you can grow every time you go, for example, starting on some greens and maybe tackling a blue trail or two before you leave. Plus, there are a few trails that have different level obstacles (Trail 4 is blue, while Yellow Jacket Ridge is a black obstacle on that trail). I still love to travel other places to see what's what and do something new and different, but Rausch is a great home park.
