Just received an email saying they have a full drop in unit now.

sweetbmxrider 10-24-2011 12:49 PM

You should probably pretend like you are going to buy it.

LTb1ow 10-24-2011 01:00 PM

You should probably just pretend like it drives and sit in it making vroom noises while I tow it to mufflex.

BigAls87Z28 10-24-2011 01:21 PM

Mufflex wil lulz at that.
Drop in would be nice...gotta ask return policy.

BigAls87Z28 10-26-2011 11:31 PM

By drop in, they forgot to highlight the whole "wire it all together" part.

Back to plan 0.

sweetbmxrider 10-27-2011 07:20 AM

Wiring is easy as long as it retains stock sending units

91camaroracer 10-27-2011 10:20 AM

so are the 91-92 models ready yet?

When I asked them what they ment by plug and play, they said it drops right in like the OE one. None of that is tru.

Or how header companies describe the install process being as simple as just throwing the pipes into the engine bay?

Or (sorry Scott) Year One's 17" GM 5 spoke rally wheels that can't fit on cars that originally had GM 5 spoke rallys?

Who said that was plug and play?

When I hear "drop in and go" I expect a little wiring. I knew that I would have to hook up the VSS and some other wiring, but not have to rewire the whole dash.

sweetbmxrider 10-28-2011 07:16 AM

And by "mad", you must really mean, "using this as an excuse to let the poor car sit till next summer" good sir.

BigAls87Z28 10-28-2011 09:32 PM

How is that an excuse? I have legit problems, and without towing it to several places to fix it before I have the exhaust done, it is not going to just get done.
