2.1 no but 2.2 increased my battery life by whole lot. I can surf, tweet, send pics, and do live feed from my phone without charging it.

I'll be honest, i have a twitter account, and check it quite often...but i can't bring myself to say that i "tweeted" something, or i "read someone's tweet". I just can't do it. It's always "i/someone posted on twitter"
