If you run any sort of decent motor mounts, the motor will not move even with the trans mount off.

Out the bottom is much easier and less of a hassle.

correct, those two at the top are such a PITA and another reason why i didnt want to do it from the top was because about 4 months ago i took the trans out and put it a built one, i got sick of touching those bolts:lol:

What was the problem with the motor in the first place? Noises? Lack of power? Sorry if i missed this somewhere!

No oil coming up to the top end.

yepp, next step is to put it on a stand drop the pan and pour a gallon of oil into a big (clean) pail and run a hose to the oil pump and prime it with a drill and see where my blockage is
