So three days have passed and my parents insurance company hasn't responded. Worst case scenario is we bring this up to a corporate level, I deploy to Afghanistan for a whole year in a few very short months so I wont even be around to handle this crap. I had other plans for my deployment money but mid way through I'll most likely be buying a V6 Car as a roller, been tossing ideas around and I'll put some designs together later for a revamp. Thankfully the most important pieces IE the drive train are fine, so I would just end up transferring the heart.

Not for nothing, but you are no longer limited to a gen 4 chassis. Obviously your suspension stuff won't make the conversion though.

I did it, its easy. Easiest is going your 95 to a v6 95.

Parts that I know off the top of my head that will need to be replaced:
Rear passenger side 1/4
Drivers side front 1/4 panel
Glass all around
Drivers side door
Drivers seat
Spoiler & Hood need some cosmetic love
The bumper might have been torn off as well

Yup. Hate to say it but it's not worth saving.

I call dibs on those repairs if there is a club project.

V 11-07-2011 10:55 AM

After carefully looking over the chassis im junking. I can not find a satisfactory place to cut the front a pillars. For a v6 or maybe a stock v8, u could cut the metal at the base, but on a modded v8 like yours. Id only cut/weld structural frame sections at factory pinchwelds or seams. The sail panel area would be a breeze to cut due to 4 panels meeting there. But due to the a pillars being part of the whole firewall section, i would not swap roofs in your particular car. Sorry.
