ws6 jim 11-24-2011 11:08 AM

5th gen drive it as usual 17k in less than a year is record for me. I would like an exhaust system for it too.

4th gen winterized and up on stands covered hope to find a buyer in the spring again.

3rd gen change the oil and put it through inspection. I enjoy just driving it as is once in a while.

2nd gen rally/snow car I guess see what happens

Need to get mounted snow tires for the new DD.

2kblackgtp 11-26-2011 12:27 PM

Being that my car has been down since july of 2010 with a broken rear and no place to really fix it, step A would is to find a garage. Next order of business would be:

1. Install 12 bolt
2. Buy and install aftermarket fuel pump while rear is out, drain out old gas
3. install leather seats/door panels/ new console lid
4. Install headers, ory, poly motor and trans mounts, new plugs and wires, new exhaust or add a couple mufflers to the current one
5. Install new struts/springs
6. Install TR 230/224 cam, valve springs, etc.
7. Get front and rear bumpers repainted, install stripes
8. Get tires for my new wheels and install
9. New battery since I'm a tool and never disconnected it when I parked the car. Oil change and have it ready just in time for spring.

Oh, and a tune.

Hopefully the exploder will get a new owner and I'll end up with a Silverado.

88WS-6 11-26-2011 01:18 PM

Find a second job and save up money for a new motor. If she sells before then.... maybe LT1?

SRGN 11-26-2011 01:42 PM

Finish the race car and the T/A DD. Race car just needs the fuel system plumbing finished, some 102mm ductwork and tuning. T/A needs me to finish swapping the valvesprings on the replacement engine, then I need to drop it in. Other engine is ready to come out, just the motor mount through bolts holding it in. The 68 can wait another year for me to get time to work on it.

amargari 11-26-2011 04:30 PM

spina74 11-26-2011 04:34 PM

1. Sell subaru
2. buy beater jeep
3. pay off debt from building ws6
4. sell jeep, buy g8 gt
5. stare at trans am

Noodles 11-27-2011 02:14 AM

step 1: buy cover
step 2: park in driveway

:D
