Thanks buddy, V already contacted me I think we are going to get together within the next few days and pull the codes. after hearing what you guys r aying and doing a little reading. It seems like my O2s are bad. at least im hoping thats the problem.

I ordered a new tune from PCMforless thinking that was the issue, so im waiting on that. Either way seems like ill be pulling a few more ponies out of he with the tune

btw where in Nwood do you live?

O2 sensors usually get damaged when you remove them plus any coating or oil that might be on the headers can burn off and destroy the O2 sensors. I would get some new Delco O2 sensors and some quality O2 extensions. I think one of the Corvette O2 sensors has a longer wire and will reach without an extension.

wow, just looked up some new AC Del o2s. was NOT expecting them to be $105 a pop. plus the extra $40 for some nice extensions. ughhh bank account hates me right now! I guess its what needs to be done.

Ordered myself some new O2s and extensions. O2s will be here wed, extensions not until fri or later. Can't catch a break. Ill keep you guys updated. Still need to pull the codes and see if the O2s are actually the problem, but regardless they are beat up and homemade spliced.

Thanks for all the responses, helped a lot and if nothing else was a good read and time killer

Everything was delivered today! PCM, Extensions and O2s. Now i just need to find a way to get this car jacked up enough so i can reach the plugs for the 02s.

sweetbmxrider 02-08-2012 01:20 PM

Make sure you zip tie the o2 wiring away from the exhaust but leave a little slack for movement.

Little update boys. As you know all my parts came in. my buddy down the street lent me 4 stands and a bangin jack, so i was all set to go on Wed. UNTIL i was forced to the hospital because of a hernia which led me having to get surgery asap which still leaves a broken down Camaro in my driveway and a small pile of parts. To say im pissed is an understatement. But it will get done once i am able to do so. Not sure when that will be because im in a world of pain right now and these painkillers arent doing *****.

Jersey Mike 02-11-2012 10:21 PM

Nope. It's the drugs.

Rest up, man. The car shouldn't take more than an afternoon's time.

sweetbmxrider 02-11-2012 10:38 PM
