I would gladly throw the first shovel of dirt on her grave. I am so sick of hearing how she changed people's lives. BLAH BLAH BLAH.... her ex husband and daughter will be right behind her when they get their hands on the money for more drugs.

Was never a fan, nor am i familiar with virtually any of her work. I have less than no interest in pop music of any type; but it seems odd that people are so angry at her about events that she wasn't even alive to express an opinion about- much less control. Seems to me the more troubling issue is who or what is driving all this activity.

What really grinds my gears about this whole thing is that an addict's funeral plans require a full-scale police response and the entire shut down of six city blocks so that a bunch of celebrities can come to the armpit of New Jersey and mourn. The efforts being undertaken are so extensive that it's become THE top story on every newscast EVERY night.

Oh, by the way, THIS more important thing happened...

It just goes to show you how out of control the politicians are in this state to do something like that without even thinking of what the response would be from the public well they just dont give a s--t and they think they can do whatever they want in trenton. They tell us they are going to do this and do that when their asses are up fpr election but when they do get elected they dont give a crap about you me or anyone else cause they are good for another 4 yrs. We got to vote the trash (the incumbents)out of office, they are makeing this state a mess.

Christie screwed the pooch on this one.

I don't like her music or that genre but she was a great talent, had one hell of a voice but she threw it all away and because a POS crackhead....and we remember and celebrate that?

Slow-V6 02-19-2012 06:20 PM

She was one of the greatest singers of all time!! Every top 100 artists of all time she is always in the top 20 or better.. Does she deserve the flags half staff? No but she does deserve all the news and what not. We remember what she did as a singer and what she gave the world as a singer. I wasnt really a fan of hers but I know all the words to most of her hits. She is one of those artists that no matter what you listen to you know one of her songs..

Whitney had a five octave range. Crack or not, that's very impressive.

I don't think anyone can or will debate that. She didn't sing my kind of music but her voice was nothing short of amazing. Her rendition of the National Anthem was one of the best ever.

Wtf are you talking about you looney bastard? None of what you said had any relevance to this thread. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
