some basic info about flex-fuel... It seems any "special" parts are in the fuel system.

24x reluctor wheel till 2006, then went to 58x

I was also reading the crank is longer in the gen 4's so you can't run a t56 and will have to properly shim etc for flexplate/converter/starter alignment.

it doesnt seem like its so far fetched... i think i going to pick this up.

There are a few guys on tech that did budget builds with ebay turbo kits and made very respectable power with the 5.3 motors

Yea one guy has an rx7 in the 8s with a junkyard 5.3 shortblock with 100k on it...
