No one cares about Montana. You and Paterson are both detrimental to our image.

Close enough :)

Only a stones throw!

North jersey is the best!!!! Because there's nothing to do. The cops get paid too much. Taxes are astronomical, and for most people the closest highway is 15 mins away. Oh and because the roads suck, wild animals roam the streets at night (they prefer to usually stand in the lane you are traveling in), your neighbors usually compete with you for everything (who puts up the most holiday lights, who drives the nicest cars, and who's family gets better grades) man I feel like I'm missing some stuff... Why don't you guys fill in some more :D

I will agree that South Jersey can keep their Guido harboring shore area's

Cherry Hill is not far from the shore, Camden is just down the street, there's sand next to water around there somewhere

do i live in the only quiet place? no one bothers me...see maybe one cop every three weeks or so go down my road, and thats because he took the long way home...dont even lock doors really...last time someone tried to rob someone around here, a little old lady pulled a 10-gauge on them and no one has had a problem since...the only time we have traffic problems is on the highway because some new yorker was texting and rolled it, or if the road washed away from crazy rain. you go outside for a smoke, and you are greeted by a bear, skunk, racoon, deer, or all of the above and they just look at you like "oh sorry bro ill just walk away now".

biggest problem we have is too many diesel stack having rediculously lifted dodge trucks around here

South will never be FTW as no matter where you live you are still a Southie. And you have Camden. Having the city that's been at the top of the ****tiest cities in America list negates all coolness.

So by process of elimination that leaves Central. If you are close to 78 or 195, you are FTW.

im 5 minutes from 78 and 20 from 80 so i guess im FTW! sweet

When talking about the general area I say shore
"Lets go to the shore Sat"

when i am specifying which part i say beach
"which beach do you want to go to? Avon? LBI?"

right on then.

BullittSVT 04-21-2012 04:00 PM

I live really close to the pine barrens, and the beach/atlantic city with the parkway entrance three miles away and an airport literally a half mile up the street from me (geographically, not driving wise). So therefore I can say New Philadelphia is the only real piece of New Jersey as it fits in with the "Jersey Shore" theme, and the garden/pine stereotype. All you other folks have an identity crisis.

Brigantine/Atlantic City/Ventnor/Margate/Longport/Ocean City -> Great beaches
Warton State Forrest/Batso -> Great trails, off roading
AC Expressway/Parkway all intersecting here -> Easy Accessibility

pretty sure jersey would be better off if asbury park slid off into the ocean would rather go to oc, wildwood, or cape may anytime. south jersey doesnt harbour the guidos they go to seaside WAY ABOVE SOUTH YEAAAAAAA BUDDY!

It's even worse now. it used to be tolerable. If I want beach i go to Island Beach State Park. Nice a quiet, all locals. the only problem is they only let so many ppl in so you gotta get there early. I don't need the stinkin boardwalk. not with Pauly D walkin around
