You bought a flatbed? Good for you! You need something to move around all your junk!

sweetbmxrider 10-05-2012 07:06 AM

289 no ****.....

Good thing someone put a Mustang banner on the windshield. If it wasn't for that, I could have sworn it was an AMX or something.

It should have a "Lost Cause" banner.

I also support the purchase. Friggin love those style Mustangs. They are by far the best looking Mustangs of all time by a far and a wide margin.

With that said...What's a drift?

we expect you to support a project that will never be done.

Bear I think more people shook their heads at you bringing home another project than gasped at the fact that it was a Mustang.

Nothing will ever be finished because I keep changing my mind. There will always be something on a project that I want to change.

I have been working on the 73 though. Work sucks now that I am in Newark most of the time. I get up at 5am get home from work around 5:30pm and now I am tired by 8pm. I try to get out there for at least an hour each night now that it isnt so hot that I want shoot myself rather than be alive. It is my time of year now, you will see more progress on my stuff soon.

sweetbmxrider 10-05-2012 01:07 PM

Sure, bring it on over. Ill buy more parts for it

BonzoHansen 10-05-2012 01:17 PM

no you don't. because you keep adding cars and changing ideas. the cash flow will never slow.

I haven't really wanted to spend the money. I have other responsibilities. I cannot afford to change my plans as much as I change my pants. at least the wheels I have fit the car lol

Yeah, I know you have responsibilities, but you need wheels for that car  The wheels i have on the car fit PROPERLY, but of course the wheels I want are so damn expensive. THey will have to be the last thing I get anyway as I need the proper backspacing with the brakes and suspension/sheet metal.

And you have no idea how much money I have. I am not looking to build $100,000 cars and I have an "in" for bodywork on my projects. All the other projects I have are not real high dollar, like I said, I have the money for them. Time is the problem I will have in the end since I started this new position.

Better to be low on time than money, IMO.

Oh THAT, its only because of the stock upper control arms, if I had the SPC ones on it wouldnt have touched. If you are accounting for that almost no other non-factory 2nd gen wheel is going to "fit" unless the steering stop is adjusted. Joe went full lock when he drove the car, I dont have any issues with the wheels being wider
