Really? cam yous? You want a serious answer then take the extra 5 seconds needed to throw together legible sentences. Argh. Your posts are always like that.

Like WBT said, you wont like it. Ok here is your serious answer. Don't even think about buying a new car. It's the dumbest ****ing thing you can do. You already seem to change cars like underpants and that gets a lot more expense buying new. It's obvious you have no real life plan in action and lack any kind of internal discipline so the last thing you need to do is be saddled with 6 years of car payments. If they do allow you to join the military you need a new car like a hole in the head.

That was not a personal attack. That was sarcasm at a request for seriousness from a train wreck of a sentence, and thread for that matter. A personal attack would be me calling you a dumb ass for not recognizing the difference. But I would not do that, of course.

OG 10-22-2012 05:47 PM

if you get deployed you'll have a new car sitting around, getting paid off, that you're not even driving

Beater FTW!

@bonzohansen
like i said it doesn't have to be new just new and more reliable like gto,wry/sti,evo,camaro and so on I'm not jumping into anything until I'm settled and for an 18 year old kid fresh out of high school with no other education than that i believe I'm doing pretty well bc at the end of the week i take home between 700-100 a week between work and side work i do so i do have a life plan considering that if the service doesn't work out i have an established family company that i can take on but i don't want to be locked down id rather have options that i can fall back on

grazi 10-22-2012 06:10 PM

Id say a FORD F-650 with a 5th wheel trailer. This way you can live in it too. It's kind of like a win-win.

WayFast84 10-22-2012 06:33 PM

Bonzo, I was kidding around.

Honestly though just throw a lock on this thread like the rest of the posts from this guy..

redsoxsstink 10-22-2012 09:05 PM

a used gto with a ls2 is around 20k, nice, quick and comphy for around 20k. or a first gen cts-v again around 20k and its a caddy and its fast and comphy. not gonna beat a dead horse, but everyone else has solid advice.

i take home between 700-100 a week

If you are bringing home $700-$1,000 a week you are grossing $850-$1,300 a week at 18... why would you even contemplate joining the military?

So you can spend the next 10 years to make what you are making now? I know damn well if I pocketed $52,000 (grossed like $60,000-$65,000) a year at the age of 18 or even at my age of 22, I wouldn't have even made this thread. I would already own a WRX/5th gen/New 5.0/Z06/Duramax/or W.E and had it paid off. I would not even think about joining the military to take a severe pay cut. I'd be living in my own house within 3 years.

So my question is, if your life is as great as you say it is and you make $1,000 a week; why does this topic exist? You should easily be able to save up enough to go outright buy a new car or put half down and have a $100 a month payment.

Edit:
If I grossed $1,300 a week I'd be rolling knee deep in hoes in my brand new limo ZR1 with my chauffeur named Jeeves.

NastyEllEssWon 10-22-2012 09:33 PM

so which parking spot on the aircraft carrier did you get reserved for you?

rickyd13 10-22-2012 09:42 PM

i said i have my one job that i gross 500 a week then clear 415 bc of my tax bracket i also work at a bar which is under the table no tax and take home 100+ per night and then i do odd jobs when ever i get a chance to make a few extra dollars on the side
and i never said my life is good this past saturday was the 1st day i had off in over a month and theres a few things going on right now that make life far from good and i see the military as my chance for a new start and to put all the dumb things i did in the past make sense to anybody here
and good weeks i make the 1000 most are between 700-800
then take out insurance for a 18 year old kid who doesn't have the best record along with gas i drive all over the state working and going to my house in toms river when i have time and all the driving i do when i have time to go out i average about 2500miles a month repairs food cloths cigarettes misc. expenses and so on money goes fast and ill say it I'm not that great at budgeting

deadtrend1 10-22-2012 10:04 PM

I'm sorry dude, i tried to read that but the lack of any punctuation makes it painstakingly hard. What ever you said, good luck with your decision...

maroman88 10-22-2012 11:26 PM

WSex 10-22-2012 11:43 PM

ah alright, it was hard to sift through that paragraph but i get it now! youre 18, enjoy breaking the law, posting that youre breaking the law and circumventing tax brackets....all because you want to make less money a month from the military and park your brand new camaro ss on an aircraft carrier.

legit AF

OG 10-23-2012 06:03 AM

^ yea cuz the IRS is now searching F-body forums for kids making peanuts so they can hammer them with taxes

The IRS is not the only people whose laws you are violating. And some of the people that have already replied in this very thread are in a position to do something about it. No searching needed

rickyd13 10-23-2012 07:17 AM

think i can count the answers that pertain to the original question on one hand but wsex sounds like it may be worth it to watch one of those stupid things go boom

rickyd13 10-23-2012 07:33 AM

He is not talking about you breaking the laws of grammar, but rather the ability of people in this thread being in a position to do something about you breaking actual laws.

rickyd13 10-23-2012 08:35 AM

stil lost whats breaking the law being 18 and getting cugarettes?

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-23-2012 08:38 AM

Aside from the fact that there is no such thing as "cugarettes" as you say in your latest post...
