Sorry late update.

Met with insurance adjuster. 3897$!!!!!!!!

The front gfx - 800
Rh rocker gfx - 800

Both discontinued and I have to find on my own. Well I'm picking up the front from Paul and located the rocker in Philly for about 200$ total

The check was already cut that day for 3897 including the 100$ deductible.

Might respray the hood and then wrap it.

Or

Some goodies for the engine

We'll see what its gonna cost

Well heres the update. Car has been at the body shop since the 7th. Told them I don't need the car back anytime soon so do it at your leisure. Should be done this week !

He removed the bumper and started tearing into and found some damage from a previous accident (front rad support pushed in) !!!!! Along with the extra damage underneath the passenger side ground effects.

Got a supplement from the insurance company. An extra 2500$ plus my original 3800$

New supplement includes
Refinish both driver and passenger front fenders
new emblems
2 - new headlights
refinish of the hood
pulling the front end to make it straight again
Repair of both driver side and passenger side rocker arm
All new clips and brackets for the headlights and such

Also having him replace the rear bumper with new paint

totaling 5.8k

Car should be done this week and I'll wait a few week then bring it in for a full hood wrap and front bumper wrapped probably maxing out what insurance gave me.

On a side note I am getting the rockers welded shut and made perfect. If I want to add the kit back drilling won't be hard at all.

I will post new pictures of the car when I get it back

Here are some shots my buddy at the shop took

Did you know of a prev accident beforehand? Airbags were probably deployed then....clean title?

MyFirstZ 01-27-2013 03:28 PM

no they werent deployed.

I knew about it lol. from me rear ended someone at light about 5 miles an hour but hit a brace for a trailer hitch on a truck

clean title just accidents on the vin. But the car is a driver and now going to be straight and pretty again lol

donnj 01-27-2013 03:39 PM

i read that right 6.3k ???????????????????????

MyFirstZ 01-27-2013 04:02 PM

yes that's how much they gave me but its wrong 6.4k is what I got lol

total repairs without the hood being resprayed and no new rear bumper would be about 4.8k$ in repairs

donnj 01-27-2013 04:50 PM

very nice...

Jersey Mike 01-27-2013 05:22 PM

What did they value the car at? Between the fresh paint and new 370 that's in the works, it's going to be a new car

MyFirstZ 01-27-2013 05:32 PM

no idea never asked. But if it was all priced at one time I think they would have totaled it lol

and yeah mike pretty much haha

MyFirstZ 01-29-2013 08:03 PM

Coming along great! Im glad to see it being done right, way to beautiful of a car!

MyFirstZ 01-30-2013 07:38 AM

Thanks !

Yeah this guy wouldn't do the work if it wasn't 100% hence the repair of the holes on the rockers and everything along with a half dozen other things I wasn't expecting

I have seen alot of his work. A mechanic there is a good friend and the owner goes to alot of car shows that I go to and constantly sees my car in the shows. So it should be done right.
