Sounds good! I will let everyone know where to send the deposit once we settle on a date and are ready to firm up the date.

First callout for this year...

TBSS vs Dmax, loaded car trailer race after the day of racing is done. Race from a stop up to cone, and then who can stop the quickest.

I have witnesses that will agree that someone said their TBSS can out tow a dmax.

Count me in being my car should be done in a month. Just hope she'll take my abuse till this rental

Your race to 30mph and stopping is lame. Pretty sure the original callout was a heads up race of DDs between you me and BLS. You did not show up at island dragway for that race, and you puss out everytime we go to etown. Still just a buster

LTb1ow 05-31-2013 11:46 AM

Who said anything about 30mph? Unless thats as fast as a towing TBSS can muster...

As far as original callout, well, you seem to have a fuzzy memory, but you said your TBSS could out tow a Dmax.

When you wanna loan my 5k for a trans, I will glady run 12s

30mph is first gear, since you are afraid to let your dump truck shift to in a race. Besides dodging the orignal DD war callout, Im not sure why you think pulling 6k lbs is going to be easier on the trans.

LTb1ow 05-31-2013 02:02 PM

Keep moonwalking, you claimed a TBSS can out tow a dmax...this is your chance to prove it. I will leave the 12 gauge shell and paintball gun home for another time.

Adam instigated a tow off and I agreed to said race because you were too pussy footed to stay in the throttle heads up. Regardless, I would be happy to put your dump truck to shame. In fact, I will call AAA on your behave to arrange a ride home for both your broken vehicles.

transampete 05-31-2013 07:27 PM

count me in...my POS should be ready by November.

ShortFuse 05-31-2013 08:18 PM

I'm game

So you're going to put this on me? No, there's no way you're going to put this on me!

How much is it anyway?

$20 non-refundable deposit and $180 cash on the day. Please read the entire first post and let me know if you still want to be on the list. As a reminder, no street tires.

As soon as I buy tires after the wedding in September ;) should be fun.

transmaro93 06-02-2013 11:45 AM

going to try and make it as a spectator this year. at most my bro and girlfreind would attend but for something like this would probably just be me..

Blackbirdws6 06-03-2013 10:42 AM

I was able to speak with Atco and unfortunately all of the Fridays are gone for October and November. They have a couple in December but I think that's a bit risky due to issues with weather and such. Mondays and Thursday are generally available so here are the details. I took out the dates around Thanksgiving.

I would be leaning towards a Monday date which would give folks time to prep their cars over the weekend.

Mondays - 10/7, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18
Thursdays - 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14

If no one has any objections, I think November 4th would be ideal. In the event of poor weather, we should have some room to get a new date scheduled before the end of the season.

Once we agree upon a date, I want to get the deposit ready to go and sent so we are all set.

These are all valid points and I agree with your logic here.
I'd prefer a Monday rather than a Thursday.
11/4 would be fine.

Again, my attendance is conditional to the completion of the T/A, so please do weigh it differently when polling everyone.

BonzoHansen 06-03-2013 11:44 AM

September Fridays?

11/4 11/7 are bad for me. not that I matter other than spectating and other side show stuff.

LTb1ow 06-03-2013 11:45 AM

I do not care either way, Thursday would give me a nice four day weekend to forget how bad my car ran.

We will see what the group wants to do which hopefully works for you as well.

I called to inquire about that as well. September may still be a bit warm but I will see what's available.

You know this is for 2013 and not 2014 correct?

KirkEvil 06-03-2013 03:09 PM

I would prefer a Monday and 11/4 looks good to me.
