|
Five of the cars are out of the hole...
(In order of being removed) 2009 ZR1 aka "Blue Devil" http://corvettemuseum.smugmug.com/Ev...DSC_1715-M.jpg 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette aka "Ruby" http://corvettemuseum.smugmug.com/Ev...DSC_0042-L.jpg 1962 Corvette http://corvettemuseum.smugmug.com/Ev...DSC_0125-L.jpg 1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette http://corvettemuseum.smugmug.com/Ev...1Mill_01-L.jpg 1984 PPG Pace Car http://corvettemuseum.smugmug.com/Ev...DSC_2262-M.jpg This just leaves the 2009 1.5 millionth corvette, the 2001 Mallet Hammer ZO6 Corvette, and the 1993 ZR-1 Spyder All the cars are going to GM facilities for complete restorations. |
It would be kinda neat if they left them on display as is, I mean it is corvette history. Even if it was for just a specific time period. I can't imagine the amount of guys who would flock there to see them!
|
They started the blue one and drove it away

Paul, that'd awesome that they won't be destroyed/crushed. Put a smile on my face to read they will have the chance to live on.
