So I can just use ls1 rotors. The guy said it was just as easy as doing the rotor |
Oh nice any idea how they did it ?
I can always ask the place. I would imagine I would have to remove the studs but its easy to put back in with a press |
Thanks for the thought. Dropped them off at the machine shop today and he said yeah thats not a problem. So he is going to turn the hubs down to fit the rotor and bore the caliper bolt holes on the spindle since no one has a 9/16" drill bit
Good deal. I preferred this method because I want to be able to do emergency repairs at a track or on a road trip.
So the machine shop could not turn down the hubs since it require them to separate them and with the built In sensor and possible bearing separation we just bored the rotor.
Just enough clearance as you can see below, adapter for the reservoir came in for bleeding, hopefully next week http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psemd6cbct.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psltcohmla.jpg |
It's going to look great.
I can't freaking wait. I don't have the self control to buy posts and not put them on instantly
Looks like that one hub bolt wasn't a fan of your socket
Yeah good eye hahaha. The rest were thirteens that one had to have a 12mm 12 point hammered on or something to that effect. Maybe 12 and 11.
and now I can't unsee that when i look at the picture |
 The setup is stunning but those damn mechanic eyes are trained to seek out the miserable issues
Geez!
Sorry for the miserable quality pictures, took just under three hours with installation of the panhard and aligning the car as well. Very little hammering required to fit the 11" wheels and wasnt even required but for piece of mind.
Brakes are still bedding in but they are already biting harder, never felt tires like this, unbelievable traction. i will get some better shots after it is washed and doesnt have dust frmo november http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psl9oqjprd.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...pslzw0ef1c.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psnpyp5uue.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...pspvcpkriq.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f3...ps1oqqyzgp.jpg |
Those are fawking huge!

what do you plan on doing with the car track days /autocross if so that thing is going to push like a dump truck with that tire combo, if thats not what your going to do than disregard , my buddy out in cali had the first set of those rims for testing they are sweet

Nonetheless, that look sweet! I can't wait to see that thing in person. |
This thing won't see a road course. It's a meticulously maintained weekend warrior that gets taken to car shows, driven hard the way back, cleaned, then rinse and repeat.
Anthony: I'm ready for my first ride of the season, by the way. |
Perfect. How do you like the tires?
I agree. I'm obsessed with my car all over again. The tires are fantastic, for my power level lol trying to stay away from doing anything while they are cold but so far warm they are by far the best thing I have ever had on this car. Way better then the nt05s I had
I dunno, in a few weeks I'll have some free time, and I have a brand new camera with zero shutter exposures... Just saying'
Came out great!
