One of the guys that used to work for me loved the Golden Lion and now our new LP manager said the same. I need to swing by soon.

Meh, they are okay.

Anyone down for the road trip map? Potential boa cruise? Most wings eaten gets a pint glass and their beverage of choice????

all the food is great even if you dont want wings. if you dont mind a place that is a little rough around the edges in appearance then it is worth it. plus free shuffle board lol

Featherburner 02-20-2016 08:57 PM

Had some Firkin wings tonight and I would put the on the list. Not the best I've had but not bad.

sweetbmxrider 02-21-2016 06:41 AM

0 ****s given about wing trip. Lone wolf time!!!!

Blackbirdws6 02-21-2016 08:02 AM

I'd be in for some regret.

We could probably incorporate that. Would rely on honesty via self timing between wing stops and of course you'd have to wait for everyone to arrive if we are splitting a dozen wings.

i dont think i can physically eat wings without a beer, soo 10+ stops = 10+ beers. no doubt a good time but drunk driving is frowned upon. lol

but seriously i would be in for that. i think its a great idea

sweetbmxrider 02-22-2016 06:33 AM

Nice, lets see if some more want to get in.

LS1ow 02-22-2016 06:47 AM

You can. I had wings at Rossi's tonight, just water! It takes great inner strength!

Some off the top of my head....
Kilarneys in Hamilton
Firkin in Ewing
Kelly's in Neptune
Funny Bonz in Robbinsville - hey, they have cruise nights there on Thursdays!!!!!

TaKid455 02-23-2016 08:03 AM

Sharky's is good in Boonton. Usually on the bowl the next morning though.

Marleys is eh for me. Something about the food in general. Never been satisfied or felt good after eating there. Something with the oil they use for cooking/ frying. Ok with the grilled selection.

Hooters - terrible. May vary across destinations.

NJ Torque 02-23-2016 08:27 AM

Fireside in Marlboro isn't bad... I remembered that.

Recites!

sweetbmxrider 02-23-2016 11:55 AM

True but getting served can take some time etc.

RiggsLW81 02-24-2016 01:48 PM

Sharkys in Clifton - hands down, NO comparsion. Their sister location in Boonton, which is only a few years old, has nailed the replication of the Clifton recipe perfectly.

I avoid all chain wings spots...hooters, bbw, etc, unless with a large group of people. The quality just isn't there.

true dat.

Although as chains go Unos isn't bad. I don't like the wings at BBW or Hooters at all.

Another kind of chain is chickies & petes in bordentown. Their wings are pretty good.

Frosty 03-08-2016 05:56 AM

For anyone to mention Hooters at all for a recommendation regarding something edible makes any further opinions and recommendations null and void...seriously horrendous food aside from their loaded tater tots. :D Same goes with BWW, putrid.

For the south jersey people(really we're the only ones that matter anyway), the Jug Handle Inn on 73. If anyone crosses over the bridge into PA the Kopper Kettle has amazing wings...like orgasmic....

qwikz28 03-09-2016 08:22 AM

I couldn't figure out what you guys meant by BBW so I made the mistake of googling it on my work computer. Then I realized you guys mean Buffalo Wild Wings which would be BWW.

Thanks, now I lost my appetite for wings.

Jersey Mike 03-09-2016 08:31 AM

Must have been Frosty's subconscious talking... slip of the tongue, or so they say.

sweetbmxrider 03-09-2016 08:40 AM

I would agree that bbw is putrid

Frosty 03-12-2016 12:17 AM

Lolololol, it was an honest typo but a funny one :D
