cause too much clutch for what I have... also alot more money that isn't really necessary

well I bought a STREET clutch... and it doesn't like STREET driving... lol. It also apparently can't handle ~275 crank hp

Mcleod rst, rxt or street twin. Specs are garbage. Seen bunch of failures. Hell.....had one weld the disc to the flywheel in a buddies car down in Ocean City Maryland.....what a bitch that was to break free on the street! Another friend of mine welded his at the dragstrip. Waste of time and money IMO. But go ahead OP.....your car and your money

I used a spec once about 12 years ago. Didnt make it out of the garage because the pressure plate wasnt machined flat, so contact was only made on half the surface area. I cant describe how bad the car shook.

Never used spec since.

I had two spec 3+ and welded both. Switched to the McLeod RXT. I must say, McLeod makes a really nice clutch. Works very well at the track yet it has incredible street manners.

Got about 250 on the clutch now for break-in and I am really happy with it so far.

I enjoyed my stage 1 for about 3k miles then it went to ****, again.
