The car culture is bigger than this group, the "ricers" and you. It is far from doomed and has been thriving since the OG ricer movie Fast and Furious hit the screens 15 years ago. Maybe you should have gone over and seen what the fuss was about, make your comments and start a conversation? The soda machine was broken so you had a little time.
I'm not saying you need to like everything automotive and hey, you can have an opinion just like everyone else. Just don't be surprised if you receive the same type of comments the other way around.

So what have Ricers brought to the table to make the "car culture" better, other then providing hearty belly laughs?
And if the crowd at Wawa had swastikas and "Kill Whitey" on the sides of their cars I probably would have went over for a look. Cause that would be such a conflict of views I'd be dying to see who was rockin' that look. :D
And as far as getting comments from those so great ricers, they don't give an F k about anything other then their own pointy headed crowd. You could roll into a parking lot full of ricers in a fuggin 63 split window Vette and they ain't going to give it a second look. They don't care about car history. They think it all started with the Civic and ends with the WRX. Lol
And I should just give it up and realize I lived through a great era that people who weren't there will never understand. I was there when the guy down the street drive an SS Chevelle daily and you saw 440 Chargers and Mach 1 Mustangs at the local laundromat. I'm just going to tune out and set the way back machine for better days of yesteryear...
