A car enthusiast comes in many flavors. You don't need to agree with their taste but you can't deny the passion. I will never understand the VW rusted hood trend or the stanced folks but to each their own. The folks that bug me are ones who ruin a gathering and generally cause an issue promoting law enforcement to get involved. Staying out until 4AM at a local convenience store was something I did in my younger years so unless they were being asshats, then it seems the car culture is just thriving...

Fart pipes, stickers, 1 inch off the ground suspensions, loud rap crap, and sideways baseball hats were all heard/observed. And of course they were all Imports.

And as far as getting comments from those so great ricers, they don't give an F k about anything other then their own pointy headed crowd. You could roll into a parking lot full of ricers in a fuggin 63 split window Vette and they ain't going to give it a second look. They don't care about car history. And I should just give it up and realize I lived through a great era that people who weren't there will never understand. I was there when the guy down the street drive an SS Chevelle daily and you saw 440 Chargers and Mach 1 Mustangs at the local laundromat. I wouldn't care about a 63 spilt windown either. Prob some number matching car that comes out once a year and has a matching coat and hat owner that is super proud of his all original slow car from the 60s. No heart or soul in that machine.

Plenty of imports at the track. Plenty of sad muscle cars too. 14 second mustangs with exhausts that made my ears bleed. Audi s3 that went low 11's was difficult to hear. Idiots aren't limited by a car brand. Not everyone has money to blow either but still want to express their creativity.
