Don't be a hater. Why is it a bad thing that I take pride in driving an obscure 25 year old American car?

I was going for educational purposes.....mmmmkay

I'm curious, how is the build quality on the R/T? I remember they were pretty quick for the day but as I recall they were built in Mexico.

I don't know if I'm just lucky or what, but for a K car based chassis mine is great. Not too many creaks and groans, even though it's lowered with a stiff Koni/Eibach suspension. And I drive the piss out of mine, think nothing of racking up 100 daily miles on NJ's lovely highways. Every thing also works in mine, cruise, air, etc.
Engine parts can be hard to come by, since the TIII engine was only offered from 1991-93, and only in 91 and 92 in a Spirit. But "regular" parts are easily sourced from Rock Auto. I'll be winding down on it's daily driver duties when the snow comes, but I'll still drive it in cold weather. Turbos love the cold.

I'm always on the lookout for a plain Jane Reliant or Aries 4 door. I love me a good dweeb mobile.
