Can I "cheat" a lil... I've driven a bunch of cars. Have no timeslips at the house right now, but my 79 Camaros best was 12.98, around a 1.79 60'. The dragster I drive has a best of 8.97, a 1.17 60' and the 67 Camaro I drove a few times was 8.58 i believe, dont remember the 60' on it, I'll track down the guy who owns it. But if I can cheat, that blows everyone out of the water.. if not, ill just let you use my 79 ;) I'll get the slips later.

I just need the fastest slip from the car you currently race/drive.

Yeah shes a cinder block   but its got stock 373 street gears 200R4 trans and a stock monte carlo read end with an aurburn posi. plus its a heavy car. i believe i was also on the breaks that run cuz i was racing my friend and i was a mile and a half ahead of him i was breakin out bad . cuz like i said i have a 12.60 run out of it. but i have millions of time slips and its hard to look through them all. PLus some cars make power at different times adn might pull harder at top end. my friend form the track has a 69 camaro runs 12.00 or so at 122 mph depends how the engine is put together

67RS/SSCamaro1849 09-05-2004 03:38 PM

Heres one of my dads cars runs. its a 1969 camaro alcohol injected blown and its supercharged. Its a slower run because the new lifters he got one of them didnt have oil holes drilled in it so it startved it of oil and seized the lifter. but here it is

Car- 1969 SS Camaro
60FT- 1.160
330FT- 3.271
1/8- 5.023
MPH- 139.98
1000FT- 6.540
1/4- 7.852
MPH- 170.86
Trans- Power Glide
He usualy runs about 7.75 or so best ever was a 7.62 181mph
i am going to send pics to 79camarodiva to load on a site so i can put pics of my monte and my dads car on the site for you guys. :D

This isnt the best time, but its one of the only timeslips I have around here.
60' - 1.304
330' - 3.732
1/8 - 5.806
mph - 118.32
1000' - 7.615
1/4 - 9.165
mph - 144.29

Its in a 94 ProStart rear engine dragster, 396 on alcohol. Best time in that car was about a tenth and a half better due to weather, but the logbook with that is in the trailer, and its not my car, I'm just the driver. Hopefully very soon I will have MY car down the track, projected to run 8.20s or better. I have some other slips from other cars I drive, but not with me at Rutgers.

Fastbird93

Purple Pearl 93

R/T -- .158
60' -- 2.045 (needing gears)
330' -- 5.622
1/8 -- 8.478
MPH -- 85.82
990' -- 10.864
1/4 -- 12.988
MPH -- 107.98
That was crossing the trap in third at about 6200 RPM. Can you say gears??

Black 93 (SOON to change drastically)

R/T -- .746 (sleeping)
60' -- 2.026 (too cold for track to hook)
330' -- 5.384
1/8 -- 8.482
MPH -- 85.29
990' -- 10.910
1/4 -- 13.095
MPH -- 106.83

Funny thing about these two cars is the Purple Pearl one has ported heads and a Hotcam kit + the usual bolt on's (no cat) and the black car is a bolt on ONLY car, still with stock rockers, and had a cat on too. The Purple Pearl car has a 3.23 rear with a 95 M6 = way too low of an overall ratio.

Finding the right combo is the key. I wish I had 2 F-bods running almost the same times. I know a guy that went 12.08 on bolt-ons and a stock TC on 3.73s :D
