Some of those car alarms are WAY too sensitive. i drive by looking for a spot with my radio on (not anywhere near full blast, and the bass boost isnt even on!) and i have a trail of headlights and horns going off behind me. Jesus, and I'm down 3 speakers rite now!

i've only seen it done, never had a chance to actually do it. at njit there was a fourth gen that was LOUD as can be. so he was stuck in traffic heading out of the parking deck and everytime he would move forward the car he was passing would have they're alarm go off. it was the funniest thing. i plan on trying it when i get my car back. shouldn't be too much longer as the parts are finally back from the machine shop :D

Apparantly I cant either  The guy who owned the car before me did such a piss poor job wiring the car, that its not fixable. I have to pretty much gut the soundsystem and rewire it all. that'll probably take a few months. im askin this everywhere, so if you see it somewhere else, its still me: Does anyone know if the later 4th gens can with an option to have an equalizer on the cd player? Or if they came with a stock CD Changer option?
