:cheers: Looks like we've gained another early particpant in this project. Bluebird has agreed to join us for our meeting at 'Johnny Lightnings" on Tuesday December 7th at 7:00 P.M.

If for any reason foul weather is going to deter you folks from being able to make it to the meeting tomorrow night, I'd really appreciate a phone call. Um Jim, since you have my number, I'll have to rely on you.

thanks for coming out, guys. it'll take a little while for me to transcribe the tape, but at least we have a rough idea of what we want to do.

as i was alluding to, i am not sure what manufacturers will get on board with us, but no one is above the call. if we don't ask, we won't get.

Oh well, life goes on, and so does the 'Average Guy's Car Show.' Just means we'll have to find someone else to do the filming. These things happen.

No problem Jim, everyone present tonight took the time and effort to drive a good distance to make this meeting happen, and none of us would have done it, if we didn't care about this project.

In regards to the engine detailing episode, if I don't get the time to ask for donations, I think I can at least contribute a couple cans of Spray Paint to the effort.

already on top of it. i'm looking for 3 dedicated digital cameras, now, on tripods. we'll get it done. we didn't really need him, but it would've been nice to have someone with experience.

oh, and he's in "Ridgewood High School in their TV club or whatever they call it" i found it while looking to build the needs/haves list.

If you've read my post in the new thread 'Average Guy's Car Show Project, The Next Phase', you'll see that I've covered at least two of our needs, and 'Trans Am Chick' may have covered another one for us.

just out of curiosity, was it necessary to create another thread for that? i feel like a ping-pong ball now, bouncing back and forth between threads to see what the latest thing said was... wouldn't it have been better to keep everything in the same place? look at the number of times the original thread has been viewed - people were going there for the latest info on the topic, especially with how the board works (when there is a new post, it goes to the top of the list of topics).
