Yea I hear ya...I have a hard time focusing I guess. But I added more sets today and it felt good so I think that should help. Don't have a scale though, need to bring one from home next time.

Coming up to an off cycle of SP250, been thinking of ditching the NO and just taking a creatine supp.

Thoughts?

eh...superdump and all NO stuff is overrated, unless you work 14 hours a day before going to the gym you shouldnt need any 'focusing'... pick up some green mag, sizeon, storm, etc if youre looking for a good creatine... or just good ole mono like i use

madness410 09-15-2009 01:46 AM

like i said on your facebook man...try going supp. free. i saw strength gains in EVERYTHING after i stopped everything completely...and still am. try all different type of things and see what works out for you. good thing about dropping the supps. is that its free :)

Yup, that's what I use. Works great for me. Sucks because it isn't sold in a lot of places and is kind of an obscure product.

LTb1ow 09-15-2009 11:08 AM

Awesome day in the gym. There were a few other guys there so I was able to really push my self.

Only problem was the one guy was the kind that does bicep curls with like 15lbs and friggen grunts and then drops the weights like he is powerlifting... sigh..

So should I cycle a month with no supps what so ever? Does that mean no protein either?

That's what I do. Just a multi. Although usually 2 weeks of it is no lifting either- to give my body a rest. But that's just once a quarter.

LTb1ow 09-15-2009 11:18 AM

Ok cool, I guess I will start that next week, I have one more day of SP250 left.

I take osteo bi flex in the morning, and a centrum performance at night.

Anything else I should be looking into?

If you are ordering direct from Met-Rx, skip the Osteo bi flex and get their "Joint Guard". Trust me.

LTb1ow 09-15-2009 11:30 AM

Ok, I have a while till I go back onto supps, and I need to get my mailbox setup still... LOL.

But I will add it to the order.

Thanks Bill.

I have a friend that is HUGE 6'4" and 285lbs. He always told me to have a protein shake after I lift and to eat a full meal within an hour of drinking the shake! Worked very well when I was going to the gym on a daily basis. I am 5'8" and was 180lbs from about 125lbs. I slacked off a little and lost a few pounds lol. I'm getting back on track tho!

LTb1ow 09-15-2009 11:53 AM

I just stay the same weight, no matter how much I eat or what I eat.

Don't have a scale at school yet, but I am pretty sure I weigh 200lbs, + or - 5 lbs.

Doesn't matter how much I lift or how much protein I eat... LOL

Get some weight gainer if you want more weight.

madness410 09-15-2009 11:58 PM

matt try adding more carbs to your meals. and having a good post workout meal is crucial.

LTb1ow 09-22-2009 11:27 AM

So how much and what should I be eating daily?

I have being keeping track of what I take in, and its not much...

Usually a power bar when I wake up, another before class, a sub after class, and then a shake before I sleep.

MonmouthCtyAntz 09-22-2009 01:32 PM

If you wanna add strenght look into the late Mike Mentzers "Heavy Duty" training...back in my hayday I weighed 160-165 pds @ around 11% bodyfat and after only a mth or so of that training moved my max bench from 265 to 315 while still doing cardio and dropping bf. Its a little different but thats the whole idea to shock the muscles.

Your eating the wrong food. Plus a power bar is not nearly enough food, you'll be hungry in a 1/2 hour. There also loaded w/ sugar and that speeds up your metab if your trying to pack some size on...The white flour w/ the sub isnt helping either...grab yourself a few tubawares and pack yourself some egg whites w/ either broccoli or spinach...Throw in some sweet pots., the fiber will keep you full. Change it up w/ some grilled chix. Pack enough to eat every 3 hrs. You can also sub in a few shakes to make it easier. Remember its 90% what you eat. Now if I could only pactice what I preach id be good

Thats because its good info. The post workout shake should be atleast double the carbs to protein.
