Stay away from sugar(its ok to take some in after you train though), pasta, white bread(or any for that matter).

Eat: Brown/ Wild Rice, Frozen or Fresh veggies, any lean protein (Fish, lean beef, Poultry), Sweet Pot. instead of Baked. Egg Whites w/ a yoke or 2. Protein Shakes are good but theres no substitute for whole food...Breakfast should be your largest meal. Take about 5 grams of creatine in before you lift...No need for a multi you get more then enough Vitamins through your diet. Always eat a complete meal...but especially make sure it always has protein in it. 99% of those protien bars are loaded w/ sugar, back in the day i did like the pure protein bars I believe from worldwide. Like posted above try to have your post workout shake within a 1/2 window of training( try for the 4/1 like wildbillyt said) and like LS1 4Good said eat a full meal about an hour after your post workout shake. If you need anymore advice just pm me. I worked at Ultimate Fitness in Ocean for about 5 years and IFBB professional Rich Gaspari was my personal trainer and dietician when I use to bodybuild back in the day so i have a good bit of knowledge.

I am gonna grab a lot of eggs and some chicken when I go home this weekend. I will look into getting some rice too.

As for creatine, still have not decided what I wanna do with that aspect of lifting.

LTb1ow 09-22-2009 03:20 PM

Ah ok.

What is your opinion on taking creatine Bill?

madness410 09-22-2009 03:33 PM

what and how you eat all depends on what your goals are.

LTb1ow 09-22-2009 03:34 PM

Just a good enough diet so I have good recovery. I honestly just enjoy going to the gym and working out, its a nice break from things.

Yea I just did a search on him, looks like he competed in the 07 NPC...ive been outta the game for years so more then likely I dont know him...I was w/ rich in the early/mid 90's(when he tried to make his comeback).

LTb1ow 09-28-2009 08:06 PM

Ok, got myself a lot of eggs, brown rice, some plain chicken breast and a lot of broccoli. Need to get some milk tmmr though.

Trying to eat a hearty breakfast and then some scattered meals throughout the day.

Next question, been talking with my brother, and I can't decide on whether to get back on a SP250 cycle with sizeon, or take Met Rx Xtreme Creatine Blast RT.

Thoughts?

madness410 09-28-2009 10:27 PM

sounds like good food. i mean u dont need to go over the edge with the health food moreless just watch what you eat..

as for the supplements..did u try going without them yet? that blood test got me scared ****less and u know the supplements that just came out, who knows what problems they can bring 15-20 years down the road

LTb1ow 09-28-2009 10:29 PM

Yea, going on three weeks with nada. And you got a blood test while on cycle and after lifting.... granted I did too.. LOL but what did you expect?

madness410 09-28-2009 10:33 PM

yeah you are right..but still, i mean who knows what it can do later down the road

Dude, not to sound like a dick, but what brand of creatine doesnt make that much of a difference... just choose a price and flavor that fits you

LTb1ow 09-28-2009 10:35 PM

Well I was more curious about the differences between the two.

Squirrel 09-28-2009 10:44 PM

i'd go with the size on, size on has useful other ingredients in it, whereas the metrx is 5grams of creatine mono with a whole ****load of sugar

WildBillyT 09-29-2009 08:53 AM

Whatever works for you. I use the Met-Rx stuff because it was cheap enough and did the job.

LTb1ow 09-29-2009 08:55 AM

Sorry for the continued dumb here... but what is the big difference between size on and the metRx stuff?

There is a big price difference.

Sizeon has a lot of proprietary **** in it. Met-Rx is creatine mono and dextrose.

LTb1ow 09-29-2009 09:01 AM

Ok, so the Met-Rx is a cleaner chemical? If that makes sense..

So I got some pre workout stuff, and will post up on how I like it when it gets here.

Any thoughts on stuff like jet fuel for cutting? Ron mentioned it to me, and I have been looking at it.

MonmouthCtyAntz 10-12-2009 07:26 PM
