haha on the labor day 5 pm shutdown ahahha funny

The wheels will spin a lot easier once we get the proper amount of support. so far were close to half the project ''100 fbody cruise.''

i wonder what the links on the other sites are doing

tjd24 07-01-2009 06:59 AM

Depending on the date I'll look to participate - either way count on a $50 donation to the cause...

LTb1ow 07-01-2009 10:06 AM

Anything new Jay?

NastyEllEssWon 07-01-2009 10:52 AM

only thing new so far is that the corvette paperwork is still being located. we still need more support!

32 people so far isnt bad...especially with majority willing to put up 50 bucks. not bad for 7 days of polling so far.

does anyone here have any ties to a few dealerships....that would help out enormously....or know of any businesses (friends or family) that would be willing to donate as well....every little bit helps.

i would like to start canvassing businesses for support as well but cannot without an official charity. so coming to that, while were waiting for the politics to unfold.....

Does anyone have any suggestions for charities???

Autism Speaks - Bonzo

this was the only one mentioned so far. anyone?

Could always donate to a police chairty like the widow's fund. Might help get them on our side?

Jam 07-01-2009 07:19 PM

I agreee w/ him ^^^^

Jersey Mike 07-01-2009 09:37 PM

I make sure to give to St. Judes and St. Baldricks every year. Maybe this year we can give them some more support?
Either way, someone who needs it more will be getting some help, and some F-Body owners will have a few miles of freedom.

JuStAZ28 07-05-2009 09:40 AM

All i gotta say is look at the videos of the vette guys run and there should be no question for anyone...Im in with $50+ and can probably get 3-4 other f body guys maybe more to come also depending on date

vipergtx500 07-05-2009 10:52 AM

a good friend of mine participated in the toys for tots corvette run and he said it was amazing, id be down with $50 just depends when it is

LTb1ow 07-06-2009 09:48 AM

Any news Jay?

And would this be strictly for GM cars? I know a few of my non Fbod driving friends would be interested in this...

NastyEllEssWon 07-06-2009 11:18 AM

its not ''gm cars'' its ''fbodies specific'' only other vehicles allowed would be a 5th gen camaro and a ''co-ordinator'' driven chase/multimedia vehicle.

that doesnt mean bring out the Grand Prix or the Caprice or Monte Carlo....it means Camaro/Firebird/Tojan.

still waiting on field ops to find the corvette paperwork....got hooked up with them through dave of kerbeck corvette. awesome people.

JuStAZ28 07-06-2009 06:44 PM

Czop418 07-09-2009 03:49 AM

Ill Thrown in 50 , This is a great thing we got going here. Did Any one try First State F-Body ?

Fuji84 07-12-2009 06:10 PM

i dont care what it cost! a chance to go as fast as i want witout getting ticketed out the ass is a chance in a lifetime lol! lets go people come on make this happen!

BigRocsFirebird 07-12-2009 06:27 PM

i didnt tally myself yet. i am fine with giving 50$ for a good reason. tomorrow i turn 17 and hopefuly pass my drivers test. my mom should let me go but shes like over protective because i'm going to be a new driver. i'm sure after a few weeks she wont be so bad. but i'm not going to vote yet since i'm not sure if i can go yet. if i can make it hopefuly i don't get my balls busted for having a v6 lol mom wouldnt let me get a v8 to start out with.

NastyEllEssWon 07-12-2009 07:10 PM

Who is the one with the final say on the Charity???? We need a worthwhile cause.....not just an elks lodge or something dumb like that.

If we do it in the name of the club, the staff will have final say.

Keep the first post updated with the list of possible charities.....
