Legal to OWN not legal to USE. In VA if they catch you using one they "drop the hammer" on you.

p.s. had to go to the labor building in trenton yesterday morning, and there were at least a half a dozen on both sides of 195 going and coming back. it was crazy, i don't think i have ever seen that many cops period, not to mention on that stretch of 195 between the parkway and 29.

went on a fairly long trip this past weekend(120 miles round-trip) which was on I-80, I-78, and I-287...didnt see one cop and went about 80 the whole time

There is NOTHING WORSE than getting pulled over by a pig on a non-motorized bike. Ive seen it happen in Roxbury and laughed for a good 15 minutes. The woman ran a redlight. :kneeslap:

I know someone who got pulled over by a bike cop. He was in an 86 IROC :shock: . I still bust his balls about it :lol:

went to the boardwalk tonight...averaged 90mph on the parkway...no cops

j0n you suck. Further south I got a ticket last night on the Parkway, 85 in a 65 on the parkway. The trooper flat out said he was trying to make his quota. Now that is just plain ****ed up. I'm fighting this one.

Joe, what time did you get the ticket? I'm pretty sure they're only out for "traffic control" so rush hour and a little after. They aren't out on the roads during the late evenings, or at least I haven't seen em at those times.

Just going to Fudd's yesterday I saw 4 cops, 2 on 206 and 2 on 22, on the way back around 8pm I didn't see anybody.

i left for the beach around 830-900 at night

This was around 2 PM in the afternoon yesterday... nowhere near rush hour.
