I cant detail?

Tsar 10-09-2006 10:01 PM

ok wayfast is out of competition... you can barely see the road, and the rest is smudged. so no you can not detail. next.

Mike 10-09-2006 10:02 PM

WildBillyT 10-09-2006 10:09 PM

I think we have our winner :D

The contrast between the 'bird and the Elco is very striking.

Tsar 10-09-2006 10:10 PM

well i think you need to invest in a better camera  i can see grain in your pics. Plus light colored cars are harder to make as shiny and as reflective as a black car or any other darker colored ones.

So far i like vette the best.

Mike 10-09-2006 10:11 PM

sorry tsar thats my video camera pulling a still

Rich189 10-09-2006 10:28 PM

alright i might as well throw mine in too.... menzerna polishes and i beleive i used menzerna sealent when these pics were taken so no wax on it.... i bought a container of pinnicle sovergn wax and used it bout a month ago and love it... but as was said before most of it is gonna come from the prep work as you can see i dont need wax to make mine shine i just either use wax or sealent to protect whats already there from the prep... and yes i know its black so its easier to shine

Looks good, black car done well should reflect like a mirror and have the wet look.

Tsar 10-09-2006 10:32 PM

OMG turns out zaino is not the only thing that makes cars shiny. spread the news quick...

this is 15 minutes of quick Maguires Detail Spray. Only time I ever thoroughly detailed this car was when I first bought it. Since then, Ive powerwashed it, and only used spray-on carnuba wax, that new soap-spray stuff (bucketless car wash), and quick detail spray. Most Ive ever spent cleaning my car was prolly 45 minutes tops, thats including polishing the wheels too.

Its a very good product, like I said I can make the car look better with other products, just don't care to spend time going over this car. Last full treatment on the 10th 09/05

The reflection picture, 8/06 you tell me Dawn, canuba spray wax will look like that after a year and 30 car washes (not home ones)

But nothing can touch the lasting power of Zaino.. Reports prove it and I've known Sal for a few years now.

jimmyboy8301 10-09-2006 11:11 PM

this has to be the gayest ****ing thread ever, i can't believe it's made it 3 pages.

1. dawn is used to strip away wax, has nothing to do with shine
2. you're probably right, my 6 or so dollar wax wont last as long as your zaino that was almost 20 times more.
3. Last time i waxed my car was mid april i think, before i got fired from the dealer. after that i've been using my garden hose and a few good towels and just cleaned my wheels.

i think its holding up pretty good  but then again what does such young kid know about detailing, right?
