Beaters & daily drivers are welcome too....'real' car not required. It's dinner!

//<86TA>\\ 11-13-2007 06:09 PM

and now it snowballs, well it figures, catastrophic failure of the power steering pump, fire the car up and got this horrible whining sound which just got worse, then suddenly made another funny noise and stopped, go out to check what was happening, and no fluid is moving through the system, so something blew so now this damn thing is probably F-ed, hopefully my steering box is ok, then i find #5's header tube decided to eat #7 plug boot, and in the dark i could see little blue sparks going everywhere, pulled that all apart, found a new boot, but i have no way to dent the header in the car, as i found out when trying frantically to fix things and bent the electrode on the end of the plug, so now i have to take the F-ing header out, which means lifting the engine up a bit, :banghead:

an to make things worse i burnt my arm and a finger messing with things on the hot header,

such great luck i have,
:cry:well, it seems im going to miss this one, was looking forward to meeting some you guys but this just put me over the edge, why did it pick today to blow!?

well i guess i'll have to meetup with you guys next month, car or not

That really sucks. I would just go inside and start things fresh tomorrow. I just read this thread and realized today is 11/13. Holiday threw my schedule off a little. O well didn't have much $$ till friday. I'll see you guys next month hopefully I had a good time last month. Good luck Phil.

D@m, that place was empty when we left! Good times as usual. I did meet up with a nice deer in the middle of my road on the way home. He was in no hurry to get out of the road so I had to wait for him to move. It wasn't worth getting too close to him due to the rack he had. I guess I need to fix that rear defroster too, the window was all fogged up on the way home. And I ran into a traffic jam on the way home!

Dam kids and their hot rods!

You think thats bad, I need to get my heating system finished so I have a FRONT defrost. I think Scott was a little scared to be in the car on the way home, :lol:

I thought Bill left a towel for you to use as a defroster! :shrug:

PolarBear 11-13-2007 10:46 PM

I had a chamois in the car but the windows fogged about 30 seconds after we left, I had a microfiber towel to re-wipe the front glass :shock:

So my parting words to Tim tonight were "I hope I dont go home to the dog having crapped all over the house" well I get home, the pup is out of Quarantine for his first night with the other dogs...he was passed out, but I needed to let him outside...I notice the floor is soaking wet by the fridge...I was like ohhh damn he peed all over the floor....nope, he then gets up, and shows me his new trick! He goes up to the fridge stands on his hind legs, and pushes the button to make the water come out all over him and the floor. I sure as hell hope no one taught him that cause its one cruel trick if they did. I just hope no one switches it to the ice dispencer, yet it could be funny.

At least you know he'll never run out of water if you leave him home alone on a hot day :)

I thank you for the generous following distance.

Uhh that wasn't necessarily intentional, you were going a little faster than I cared to follow. The Hopewell cops are real pricks, turns out I was going pretty fast on the way there so I kept it down on the way back.
