A truck you jump should be a prerunner! TWO WHEEL DRIVE, locked rear, 33-37in tires with a tough sidewall and beadlocks, long travel ifs suspension that is raked way higher in front than rear and soft ass rear suspension with mad droop when it comes off the ground. Light and powerful. A truck you wheel, preferably solid front and rear axles, dual lockers, low gear, power doesnt matter, and a tcase with a good low range. |
Should have just called this Ford F150-H2.

Ok. the only thing that this truck has going for it is the sexy orange paint. other then that...its pretty nasty looking! i am sure some 'tard will buy it though.

Chevy Dmax / 6spd Allison price - 7,195 / 1,200 = $8,395 total Ford Pstroke / 5spd Allison price - 6,895 / 1,490 = $8,385 total Chevy's diesel / trans options only cost $10 more than Fords. I built 3/4 ton trucks, diesel automatics, 8' bed, reg. cab, 4x4, no options selected besides the diesels.... Chevy = 37,465.00 Ford = 36,430.00 Ford is $1,035 cheaper, but Chevy gives you more for the money (IMO). Dmax has more hp and tq, 6spd allison vs ford's 5spd, chevy has 4 speaker am/fm/cd/mp3 standard with 3 free months of XM (ford has 2 speaker am/fm only), chevy has 1 year of free onstar safe & sound, chevy comes with 3.73 gears standard (ford only a 3.55). - Justin |
