i gotta agree with the frontier/xterra suggestion. I have a friend with a n/a frontier 4x2 desert runner, great little truck with great gas mileage. I have another friend with the sc xterra, much better on the road due to more power, but it runs on premium and is a gas hog. And when both of these kids wanted to mod them, there was nothing available outside of a cold air intake, exhaust system, or suspension lifts.

Also, I've driven a riviera, i love that car, and would suggest that as well.

You will not want to mod a 2002 Olds Intrigue.

If it has seats and a steering wheel somebody will try to shove a small block in it.

Tsar 04-16-2009 09:09 AM

Hey I just said I have never seen one, I'm sure someone has  Although I think that beastly Russian vehicle would fall apart with any extra power and torque.

Mike 04-16-2009 09:10 AM

what is that btw?

Yeah, I'm assuming that the car is a total POS- but after seeing 454 beetles (originally rear engine, modified to front engine) and small block British crap (like Triumphs where the frame is just a crease in the floor pan) I'm positive somebody would hack one up.

It's one of the old Soviet cars, sadly it was produced until 1994 in pretty much the appearance you see above. I have always been baffled by how ugly Russian cars were/are, it's like they were/are doing it on purpose..

Here's more about this one in particular if you are interested in strange Russian automotive engineering.

It's safe to assume that about any Russian car produced. A lot of people would prefer to buy 10 to 15 year old European car than drive a new Russian car.. sad really. I've never seen a government official in one either. Only cops on the outskirts of the city drive them, in the center it's all about BMW's and MB's.

I still think the chrysler 300 looks like a Russian car - like something a bad guy in a bond movie in the 60s would drive.
