If they felt the car wasnt broken in yet they shouldnt have ran it...same goes for the weather...otherwise all it adds to is a list of excuses.

you seem to just be hating on it for the sake of hating on it.

the point i was trying to make, is that ANOTHER CAR in the same area as nineballs original test ran a very similar time, so im sure track location and weather has something to do with it.

seriously. a good lt1 driver could click off a low 13 too. your car hasn't run anything till it has run something! just because others can do it doesn't mean you can. 25 miles on a motor isn't broken in either.

look at the quarter mile times in the articles.

just to give people an idea on how weather affects a cars ET and mph

-2000 DA 11.89 @ 118.27mph 1.83 60'
2 weeks later, -100 DA 11.91 @ 117mph 1.71 60'

with a 1.71 60' i still managed to run slower and mph'd less due to the crappier DA

if i cut a 1.71 60' on the -2000 DA da, that wouldve been in the neighborhood of 11.60's

In the Z28 models 0-60 was 5.5 seconds and 1/4 at 14.0 seconds. The new SS models 0-60 times of 4.8 seconds and 1/4 at 13.10.
96/97 ss's which were pretty hard to come by.
