you do know that there are several players in the league today that have HUMAN bodies on their hands right?

Yes I do, but this thread isn't about them. Just staying on topic.

which is more disgusting, because if something like this would make you stop watching football, i would think you would have been gone when they let the previous felons back in.

I never said I would stop watching football. When I said: "God forbid my team ever signed this sorry excuse for human, that would be the last day I'd be a fan after 37 years." I meant if my favorite team (the Jets) signed this piece of crap, I'd be finding another team to root for the same day.

Wouldn't being a Jets fan be incentive enough to look for another team?:D

Believe me, it's not easy lol. I know there are few others on this board that share in the grief we've suffered over the years.

i fully understand the pain....maybe this year...just maybe

NastyEllEssWon 08-06-2009 02:02 PM

i think the raiders would be a good fit for vick as a backup. russel can use a more experienced hand giving him some pointers. worked for aaron rodgers.

Jersey Mike 08-06-2009 02:18 PM

Vick will be a great fit in Oakland.

thoughts??

agreed... Idc if he comes back and plays. Even if the eagles signed him I would still root for them. Players have done much worse and got to play and didnt miss any time.

Squirrel 08-06-2009 06:29 PM

So how long before we all get on with our lives? He did his time, he's back, just watch the game & turn to MTV for your daily doses of drama.

That would require talent, not just an ability to run around like an idiot.

They miss TO so they needed another distraction!

Jersey Mike 08-13-2009 09:40 PM

The Jets or 'Boys would have really benefited from a QB that can scramble. Then again, the headlines would be too much; "HoF'er replaced by Dog Killer," or "America's team to be lead by Dog Killer."

I wonder how McNabb's reacting to this new addition

Tru2Chevy 08-14-2009 08:52 AM

McNabb said after the pre-season game last night that he was petitioning to bring Vick to Philly, and that Vick is no threat to him.
