Only the hurst model though!
|
it's gonna have an 8.5 rear with 4 link!!!!
|
So there's going to be 3 new 2010 Trans Ams from different companies? Seems a little ridiculous to me.

There are tons of companys that produce body kits for hondas. Why let hondas have all the fun with mis-fit body kits? |

Well you said its not a body kit, but it boils down to a very expensive body kit no?

It is a body kit. But unlike the Hondas, every company is saying that theirs is a Trans Am. It would be like all of the Honda kits being called the "Civic Si" kit even though they were all different. |

Regardless of Pontiac's demise, I still think the body kits are creative. What it boils down to is, is there really a market for it? Yes there are plenty of Pontiac fans out there who will scream for something like Lingenfelter or Trans Am Depot, but in this economy, and plenty of F-bodies on the market waiting to be bought, will the body kits really sell to justify the expense?
I wouldn't buy one - I couldn't afford it over the cost of the car, and wouldn't want to drive a "lie". But I enjoy seeing other company's creative energies put to use and the results of that process. For that I'd continue to encourage folks on this board to post threads about new TA-concept body kits. Well, that and I really miss the opportunity to actually purchase a 5th gen TA in the next 2 years. Keep the mock-ups and creative kits coming. 8-) |
question, since the guys that like it seem to be the guys on here with family's. does anyone know if these kits are being certified by the dot, htsa, or any other agency that will cover you're interests in an accident?
i know that 99% of the body kits out there aren't exactly legal |
