Well, whats on the floor and MSRP are different. Im going, like you are, by MSRP.
GT 5.0's and SS's are priced within a few hundred bucks of eachother.
2011 could be Mustang's year to pull it back out, and in 2012 Camaro gets a MCE with an all new interior and a Z28 along with a vert version. Also we will probably see a few other changes in steering, etc etc.
Challenger will also step up with the new Pentastar 3.6 DOHC V6 to catch up to the Mustang and Camaro's base plant, and the top end hemi goes to 6.4.

They are still an American brand. I mean seriously, when Daimler owned Chrysler, did anyone think of them as a German car company? And besides, the UAW owns a bigger chuck of Chrysler than Fiat, about 68%. So there's still plenty "American" left in them

Yeah, kind of similar to Lambo not being an Italian brand.

As far as the topic goes, yes GM needs more commercials, hopefully the ones that aren't just lies. Case in point, *cough* Frosty *cough*, "we have repaid all the loans" BS

LTb1ow 07-15-2010 10:45 AM

Wait a minute, GM didn't repay the loans? Now that's just crazy, I mean look at toyota spending a million dollars an hour!

Car companys wouldn't lie to us.

Speaking of a Camaro commercial, I keep hearing that Bullet for my Valentine song, "Your Betrayal". The opening min would make for a great background song for a commercial, but again....do you need an ad with heavy drums and guitars, with tire smoke, to tell you the Camaro is a muscle car?

lol if you think thats ''heavy'' then you need to listen to some better music.

BigAls87Z28 07-16-2010 01:00 AM

They should set the camaro Z28 commercial to raining blood by Slayer.

Frosty 07-16-2010 09:30 AM

Angel of Death would work too. :D

lol thats only because gm made everyone wait 8 years for a product that was still flawed at launch. we'll see in the next few years if it has the same strength and staying power as the stang.
