well remember man theres 3 sides to every story...one side, the other side, the truth. their stories contradict so someone is giving wrong recollections or faulty information.

hate to tell you this but almost the very same thing happened to my son in his camaro last year. he lost the case and had to pay damages and got wreckless driving on hjs record

this was a different story though no two cases are alike...different people different municipalities all that. did you get him a lawyer?

yeah if you think outside of the box it could be that the town has been getting a lot of complaints and this could be a perfect opportunity to shut them up by forcing you out of their neighborhood / getting rid of your car.

also man, there are other options as far as lawyers that wont require you to spend as much money. but just remember you get what you pay for...

public defenders do their work for free but their caseloads are ridiculous they will just try to plea bargain for you and most likely not try to win the case.

Dude if I was in your shoes I'd be consulting a lawyers whos slow w/ business and would be willing to work out a bargain for him to be paid after you counter sued for legal fees and lost wages for days in court.

This person is to old to be walking a dog. If you can't handle a dog then how do you even handle your own self.

Public defenders aren't always free. If you use one, they will make you fill out a form for eligibility and then it will cost you a few hundred bucks.

Get a lawyer. A GOOD one. This reeks of "How much money can I get out of this guy because I slipped and fell?" As soon as the traffic court case is done, this woman will most certainly file a civil suit. No matter how ridiculous this may seem, remember that an idiot who spilled coffee on herself got millions.

Don't be a shady n00b. If you don't want to say what happened, just say so!

Blacdout96 09-16-2010 02:29 PM

I did what the lawyer told me to do

Frosty 09-16-2010 05:09 PM

It sucks you had to plead guilty to something that sounds like BS but at the end of the day if it protects you from a civil suit then it's all good.

maroman88 09-16-2010 05:55 PM

can u get points from a ticket that was issued as a civilian complaint?

Featherburner 09-16-2010 05:57 PM

How do you get a careless driving ticket from just driving by? I'm guessing more went on than we were led to believe.

BonzoHansen 09-16-2010 06:00 PM

yeah, i don't get why you couldn't at least plead to that no point ticket you get when you get a speeding ticket knocked down (I forget what it is right now)
