Eh, they got screwed on that BS call. Rules may be rules, but he was down no matter how blind that ref was.

Jersey Mike 11-22-2012 08:24 PM

It's not the official's fault; It's Jim Schwartz's. After last week's Challenge Flag issue in another game, the Challenge rules were discussed a **** ton all around the media Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday. I think WFAN spent half of their show on Tuesday talking about. He's the head coach, and should know the rules, emotions aside. It matters little to me though, as Houston didn't cover the 3.5 point spread :(

As for the Cowboys, they need help, but that 4th quarter was something. Besides, it's only right that the Redskins won today... It's Thanksgiving after all, let's throw the Native Americans a bone.

LTb1ow 11-22-2012 08:33 PM

I know he messed up the flag call but still, that guy was down, ref made a bad call.

Jersey Mike 11-22-2012 08:44 PM

Of course, but it's easier to see that the forearm hit on camera than it is from 60' away. It came down to a forearm touch, as I'm pretty sure he kept his knees up in the air.

****** situation. You know that Detroit has lost 9 straight Thanksgiving games now? I bet The Motor City hates Schwartz right now!

Also, it looks like all 3 home teams lost today (pending a ridiculous 2nd half comeback from the Jets).

LTb1ow 11-22-2012 08:47 PM

Just wanted to see Detroit pull it out for the win, OT was a circus. Was cheering for whoever beats the cowgirls, and the jets, well...

coolmanvette75 11-22-2012 10:12 PM

I am ashamed to be a Jets fan today. Don't get me wrong, I knew we were gonna get killed. But this, this is just nonsense...

regarless of the flag rule, the Forarm, Wrist and elbow of Forsett were down. If that call wasnt botched whos to say DET wouldnt have stopped them and prevented them from scoring ?

Jersey Mike 11-26-2012 07:22 PM

I hope no one can make use of this for the rest of the season, but here's a free gift: www.giants.com/subway

Buy one get one free every time the Giants win. I've used it twice this season, and surprised more people don't know about it. Enjoy.

Greatest MNF game ever... if you mute the TV and play the Benny Hill theme.

How great is it to be Greg McElroy right now? The stars align with Tim Tebow being inactive and like 50 Mark Sanchez interceptions to allow you to start your career. The bar was set so incredibly low there was basically zero expectations. As long as he didn’t come into today’s game and shove his head up an offensive lineman’s ******* he was good to go. He steps in, leads one TD drive, wins the ball game, and it’s like he’s the Messiah.

FIcamaroRE92 12-02-2012 08:42 PM

Lemme tell you, I was at the jets game today. Every time snachez batted an eye the crowd booed and heckled him. It sucks i started to feel bad for him, but its sucks to suck. When McElroy went in the whole stadium erupted, and no matter what any commentators the team started to play 100% better than they had before now that he was in. Maybe they will put him in next week for the jags it would be interesting to see if the team plays better with him in form the get-go

So much controversy around the QB positions all around the NFL! San Fran, New York, Arizona, Philadelphia, and even Pittsburgh had a small share of the dramatics.

Thought this was funny:

Saw that last week.
And people gave Bart Scott **** for his response are idiots. Football game, wagers, PSL, alcohol, whatever; When you're in public you don't act like a belligerent a-hole. There's zero excuse for that.
Here's Bart's response, when The Press started "Pressing" him:
Quote:

"At the end of the day, if you made it to be able to put an NFL uniform on, then you are one of the best athletes in the world. The person yelling at you probably was picked last in dodgeball all through high school. So do you care about the opinion of them? No."

WildBillyT 12-04-2012 09:07 PM

And people gave Fireman Ed **** for saying screw you fans, I'm not leading you anymore.

Kudos to him.

Jersey Mike 12-14-2012 07:17 AM

Two things:

I'm not sure if Dez Bryant should be playing this week, but do understand the division title spot & playoff-berth are on the line. Well I guess if Romo can play through a punctured lung, and Witten can play through a lacerated spleen, why the hell not, right? I hope this doesn't backfire. Those balls come through the air at 40mph, or even jamming it during a bump-and-run, or landing on it when going to the ground, could result in some serious bad news bears for Dez.

As for Philadelphia, it's clear the problem isn't Vick. We're all expecting Andy to leave, but I'm not sure what to speculate about Mike Vick's fate. Someone mentioned a Sanchez-Vick trade on the radio the other day, but that just seems like a lateral move for everyone involved. Maybe Phllly & the Jets should both just clean house

Tru2Chevy 12-16-2012 09:51 PM

I dislike the Patriots greatly, but never expected the Niners to show up and dominate in NE like this. :D

Some bloopers this weekend. Any one else see DeMarco Murray's bare ass after his pants came down during a tackle? Needless to say, FOX didn't go back to the camera angle for the replay. I think this is the 2nd time that's happened to him

And what was with this? It caught my attention last night when I saw it and I guess it caught others' attention as well, since we now have a .gif! Oh, Kyle Love...
